HTA and Health Economics Project Manager

Source Health Economics was established in 2016, providing consultancy services to pharmaceutical companies in health economics, data analysis, systematic literature review and medical writing. The company now has 14 employees, based in Oxford and central London. Source works with many of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, helping bring some exciting new therapies to market. We are keen to maintain high levels of customer service and ensure project teams are able to focus on technical delivery. To this end, we are seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager to oversee our more complex projects with multiple workstreams.

This role is based in Oxford or central London


Full-time (part-time considered)

Role and responsibilities:

  • Prepare plans to execute and monitor project progress

  • Identify and manage potential project risks

  • Coordinate and monitor project team activities

  • Create client-ready presentations and materials with input from the project team

  • Offer strategic advice to clients and project teams

  • Maintain effective communication with clients

  • Ensure that projects are delivered to time and budget

  • Manage invoice schedules and administrative tasks related to projects

  • Contribute to business development, including writing proposals

Essential skills

  • Highly organised

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Able to grasp new information quickly

  • Able to manage time and prioritise deadlines

  • Able to identify problems and offer solutions

  • Knowledge of UK HTA processes and requirements

  • Basic knowledge of health economics

  • Experience of delivering HTA submissions


  • Project Management: 2 years (Required)

  • Health technology assessment: 2 years (Preferred)
